The water jet process is so accurate that in many cases we can cut your parts to final dimensions without the need for expensive secondary operations.

 

 

 

The photo above illustrates a tight nesting of several thousand parts in one large plate of material. These Inco 718 parts are approximately 5/8" thick X 3" wide X 4" long. Can you imagine sawing these parts from bar stock and milling the periphery to final size? That is exactly how these parts were being produced until our customer discovered our water jet cutting service. 

Another benefit is the repeatability of the water jet cutting process. This repeatability makes it a snap to locate these parts for the next series of machining operations.

 

 

The screen capture above illustrates how easy and economical it is to nest different parts in a common material type and thickness. We use state-of-the-art nesting software to minimize material waste and to better manage materials.

Capabilities:

CNC Dynamics, Inc. has several late-model CNC controlled water jet cutting machines. The machines have a cutting envelop of 6" thick X 96" wide X 240" long. We regularly hold tolerances of +/- .005 inch. All of our water jet machines have dual cutting heads and large capacity pumps for high production.
